The George Bar

Described in the good beer guide as an oasis in a desert it is well known real ale and lively weekend atmosphere while still retaining its family feel during the week.  

This is a regular venue for Jazz musicians with Hamilton Jazz club holding their weekly get togethers every Sunday. More information here

 

Hamilton Rugby Club

The new Hamilton Rugby Club opened in 1997 and proved an excellent location for the James Honey Big Band last years. An excellent venue for an afternoon of sport during the rugby season where you can enjoy the exitement of SHE Premiership 2 rugby and the warm welcome from Nick and his team in the bar afterwards.

This is also a popular spot for private functions and it is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Further information here.

 

Villa Hotel

The Villa Hotel, offers a light lunch or snack in the conservatory or a romantic dinner in the recently renovated restaurant. Eight bedrooms offering comfort in a modern style are also available. While small conference parties can also be catered for.

 

 

Clydesdale Hotel

The Clydesdale is ideally situated for all travel links and minutes walk from all amenities. It also provides an ideal location for the business or leisure traveller. The hotel serves fine Scottish food and functions for up to 20 people can be catered for .

 

Bar West

Known for a long time as The Silver Tassie this venue opened as Bar West was in June 2007. Ever since it has been a popular spot for many with regular entertainment including Live Music and Karaoke.

Di Maggio's

Di Maggios Hamilton is a 150 seater restaurant close to the town centre. There is Private car parking and a children's play area.

With it's own joice of distinctive drinks and relaxed atmosphere The bar is one of Hamilton's favorite evening venues. With a wide range of draught and bottled beers, selection of liqueurs, wines and cocktails this venue at 26A Muir Street caters fro a wide rangeof tatses.

Bay Horse

This venue in Bothwell Road is close to the race course and offers a wide range of entertainement and food.

Bar Strada

This is another popular Hamilton music venue. The interior is classic style bar, with different shades of wood, chrome detailing and an open plan floor area leading to the impressive central bar. The restaurant quality menu specialises in Tex Mex, with the usual chilli and fajita options, but a few standard mains are available in the bar menu.

The Regent & New Cross Shopping Centres

As well as the evening venues previews of the various acts can often be found in Hamilton's two main shopping Malls.
